Creating productions where people and creativity can flourish. At 6ft From the Spotlight, we believe exceptional productions begin with exceptional working environments.
We’re proud to bring our pioneering Wellbeing Facilitator programme to the United States, partnering with studios, production companies and creative teams to embed wellbeing, psychological safety, mental health and responsible production practices into every stage of the production journey.
Together, we’re helping shape a healthier, more sustainable future for the screen industry, one production at a time.
Kris is a Los Angeles-based Costumer and Stylist with 15 years of experience across Film, TV and Commercial productions including work with Apple TV and Universal Studios. Why pursue a career as a WBF?
Having spent years working closely with some of the most dedicated people in the business, Kris knows how little support exists for them behind the scenes. She became a WBF because she believes this community deserves real support and is confident she can help move that change forward.
Bianca is a native Angeleno and actress with 15 years of experience in film and television. As a producer, her work has centered on projects with a social justice lens, including Priceless and Stronghold, through which she partnered with survivor support organizations to amplify conversations around exploitation and mental health. Beyond the screen, she has dedicated herself to direct care work, supporting individuals with Autism through relationship-based approaches. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at UCLA, with a focus on mental health reform within the entertainment industry.
Why pursue a career as a WBF?
Having spent years on both sides of the camera and in direct care roles, Bianca has seen firsthand how rarely the emotional reality of this industry is acknowledged, yet let alone supported. She became a WBF because she believes that sustainable creative work begins with people feeling safe, seen, and genuinely cared for.
Claire has over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, beginning as an actor before moving into film production, where she worked as a Production Manager and Producer on feature films, shorts, commercials, and social campaigns. During the pandemic, she earned a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling and is now a practicing therapist, producer, writer, and Wellbeing Facilitator.
Why pursue a career as a WBF?
Claire’s direct experiences working in film production inspired her to pursue this work. She believes the industry is long overdue for stronger protections, healthier working environments, and greater care for the people who bring productions to life. She is passionate about creating spaces where individuals feel supported, respected, and able to sustainably do their best work.
